Thirty-nine flights are scheduled to depart from Faro Airport in the Algarve for the UK on Monday - nearly double the usual total.
Currently, Portugal is on the 'green' travel list, where no quarantine period on the return to the UK is necessary. But from 4am on Tuesday, June 8, travellers will be required to self-isolate at home for 10 days following the Government's review of the travel traffic light system, moving Portugal to amber.
