Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Glen Kamara to play for a 'bigger club' than Rangers amid mounting transfer speculation. Kamara has been earning rave reviews for his performances at Euro 2020 having starred against Denmark and Russia.

English Premier League new boys Watford have been named as among the potential suitors but Rangers are reportedly reluctant to sell the 25-year-old this summer.

However, talks over a new contract have been going on for months and that could lead Steven Gerrard to sell up the midfielder, having paid Dundee just £50K for his services in 2019.

Kanerva has now urged Kamara to continue his progress away from the Premiership champions in a "top league". He told AFP: "Hopefully he will continue his development, it would be nice to see him playing.
