"I made this decision initially because there had been a spike in the area in cases of aged 18-25 year-olds," she said. "I'd also been researching statistics that Boris had put up when he did a conference call. "So I didn't take it easily, but I wanted to mitigate the risk for my customers." Maggie added that she had received trolling and even a death threat over her decision as the statement went viral, with people accusing her of age discrimination.
