This Morning has been overlooked for a BAFTA TV Award nomination, while fellow ITV daytime shows Loose Women and Lorraine have both received nominations.

Loose Women and Men's special episode has been nominated in the Daytime category, along with Lorraine Kelly's main show. BBC shows Make It At Market and Scam Interceptors have also been recognised alongside the two ITV programmes, reports The Express.

However, This Morning, which recently got a makeover with new permanent hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, was noticeably missing.

When Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were at the helm, This Morning won a Special Award from BAFTA back in 2018. The prize was given to celebrate 30 years of the daytime show being on TV and the "continuing success of its creative and innovative approach to daytime television production".
