Fern Britton 'plotting TV comeback' after hint she's returning to This Morning

15 years after stepping down from This Morning, Fern Britton returned to screens better than ever with a stint on Celebrity Big Brother this year, placing in fifth on the reality show.

And now, the appearance seems to have reignited the fire in Fern's belly, as the presenter is reportedly in talks for a 'TV comeback' and could even have her own show. "Fern is planning her big TV comeback.

She’s desperate to do her own chat show and is already in talks with TV networks. CBB has done her the world of good, the public forgot how likeable she is, but the show has given her that new lease of life," a source told Bella Magazine.

They added: "It’s no secret she was treated badly before, and it put her off doing TV again, but now she feels ready to be back on screens." Fern was the permanent host of This Morning from 1999 to 2009, before she quit the ITV show in 2009.
