He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

PHILLIP Schofield sparked a battle of the sexes on This Morning today when he suggested women can't reverse park. The 56-year-old presenter dropped the bombshell remark on a live link-up with Christine Lampard in the Loose Women studio.

The 41-year-old star gasped, while Holly Willoughby called him a "silly man" and offered to leave the door to their studio open so the all-women panel next door could get him.

The drama came after 39-year-old Holly asked Christine: "Did you know that Santa's sleigh is actually pulled by female reindeers? "Male reindeers lose their antlers over winter.

All the pictures of Santa's reindeers have got the antlers, so it's women that do it. Girl power." Christine replied: "It's not a huge surprise, but it's nice.
