Lots of kids end up with nicknames during their school years, and it looks like Prince George, despite being royalty, is just like everyone else.
The future king currently attends St Thomas’s school in Battersea, London, which costs £17,600 a year. Chump change for his parents we’re sure.
So what is his nickname, given to hime by his pals? ‘PG’, which of course stands for Prince George. Not very original but sweet as it’s a nod to his royal status but at the same time very casual.
Vanity Fair add that in a cockney play on the nickname, his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William take the moniker PG one step further and call him ‘Tips,’ in reference to the tea brand PG Tips.
