Buying takeaway booze is within the rules but drinking in the street has been illegal in Glasgow since 1996. Two punter were snapped on Monday in Sauchiehall Street enjoying some refreshing pints at a bus shelter.Another pair were spotted sitting on a bench necking Venoms – a combination of vodka, Southern Comfort, Blue WKD, orange juice and lemonade.It comes as Scots wait with anticipation to hear if beer gardens will be allowed to open over the coming weeks.Bars, pubs and clubs were shut down completely in March when coronavirus gripped.
