Thiago Alcantara is ready to leave Bayern Munich this summer and is reportedly keen on a Liverpool move. After seven years with the Bundesliga giants, CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed Alcantara is looking to depart.
The 29-year-old could now link up with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield - and comments he made earlier this year shed new light on why he could see the Reds as a perfect fit.
After a hectic start to life under Klopp, in which Liverpool scored at will but conceded equally regularly, they have become known for their control of games.
With Virgil van Dijk at the heart of defence and a well-balanced midfield, the Reds have conceded just 25 goals in the Premier League and largely avoided the chaos they have experienced in the past.
