THE Scottish Motor Racing Club has announced its intentions to resume real racing at Knockhill in the autumn.The club has already held a hugely popular virtual reality eSports Spring Championship and is in the throes of running two digital summer contests.Organisers have had discussions with racers and bosses at the Fife circuit and say they have a practical plan to run the 2020 championship over three half-day events.The first will be on Saturday, September 12, followed by meetings on October 10 and 31.
Each will feature a test session in the morning, run by Knockhill, with the racing officially starting at 1.30pm.The SMRC says each driver should be able to invite some friends and families to attend, although the events are likely to be.
