After dipping his toes into the action-comedy genre with the recent Prime Video film, “Jackpot,” it appears Paul Feig is ready to switch genres again and test out a thriller in a film titled “The Housemaid.” READ MORE: 2024 Fall Film Preview: 50 Movies To Watch According to Deadline, Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are going to star in Paul Feig’s Lionsgate thriller, “The Housemaid.” The film is based on the novel by Freida McFadden and tells the story of a young woman (Sweeney) who begins work for a wealthy married couple but finds they are hiding some dark secrets. “I’m thrilled to have ‘The Housemaid’ join our upcoming slate,” said Adam Fogelson, chair Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.
