Rebecca Rubin Senior Film and Media Reporter Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried will star in “The Housemaid,” a film adaptation of the popular novel by Freida McFadden. “Bridesmaids” and “A Simple Favor” filmmaker Paul Feig will direct the psychological thriller for Lionsgate.
In the film, Sweeney will play Millie, a struggling young woman who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to wealthy couple Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew.
