The Corrs fans have been left puzzled after one member of the Irish family band pulled out of their Glasgow gig due to "unforeseen circumstances" just hours before they took to the stage at The OVO Hydro last night.Violinist, Sharon Corr was mysteriously absent from the band's only Scottish gig of their Talk on Corners tour yesterday evening but thankfully a local violinist named Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín was able to step in at the last minute.According to her official website, Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín, is a 'multi-award-winning instrumentalist and composer' from County Mayo, Ireland although her Instagram bio states she is currently based in both Glasgow and Dublin and specialises in the fiddle and harp.The Irish musician took to her Instagram page @eadioinofficial to announce she would be joining the band on stage to step in for Sharon.
She wrote: "In a mad series of events I am BUZZING to be playing with @thecorrsofficial tonight in the @ovohydro" with the Corr's track Runaway playing in the background.Earlier that evening, the Corr siblings, made up of Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim, took to their official Instagram page to confirm that Sharon would be missing from the Glasgow gig due to "unforeseen circumstances".Their statement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Sharon Corr is unable to perform this evening.
However, the event will proceed as scheduled, with a full and exciting show planned.
