The Chase fumed after one player stepped in to tell her teammate to accept a savagely low minus offer of £4000.Things got even worse for the player at the podium when they got booted from the hit ITV game show at the end of his round.Tuesday's show (January 25) saw four new players enter the studio - Dan, Doreen, Alex and Freddie. However, one player got slapped with a brutally-low minus offer of £4000 from Chaser Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess.Dan had just won £4,000 in his cashbuilder, and he admitted he was gutted when Anne revealed her minus offer for him.Hearing the her offer, host Bradley Walsh remarked: "Ouch!", and Dan cringed. The Governess had also offered £64,000 as a higher offer. However, Dan's teammate Doreen advised him to accept the minus offer, and many fans on Twitter were livid about it.Doreen said: "I'd say take the minus 4, we need you back for a full house."Anne was visibly taken aback by Doreen's brutally-honest advice, and Bradley said: "Woah, Doreen.

Settle down with the minuses!"He then quipped: "Doreen, we were friends..."One wrote: "Take the minus £4k and get back”…shut up Doreen"A second said: "Don’t go to Doreen for advice"A third said: "Be quiet Doreen"A fourth said: "Shut up Doreen ..."A fifth simply added: "Doreen" with a series of zipped-mouth emojis to express their frustration.Dan took the £4,000 option, but it didn't matter as he ended up getting chased down by Anne and subsequently kicked off of the show at the end of the round.Later on, Doreen, Freddie and Alex made it to the Final Chase with £16,000 up for grabs.Sadly though, Anne caught them all with ease, leaving over 20 seconds on the clock. For more of the latest showbiz news from the Daily Star, make sure you sign up to.
