But where are the best beach resorts to head to? Well, handily consumer magazine Which? has just published its annual survey into the best seaside towns across the UK.
Each resort was ranked for the quality of the beach, local attractions, scenery, peace and quiet and value for money and the survey was compiled with the contributions of over 4,000 visitors over the past year.
