Gary Neville, like most Manchester United fans, was not happy with Carlos Tevez. The Argentine “downed tools” before his move to rivals Manchester City, according to the former right-back turned Sky Sports pundit.
Neville’s comments led to a filmed debate between himself and the agent of Tevez, Kia Joorabchian, last week. “I felt disappointed that, as a professional, he didn't act the right way,” Neville said.
Joorabchian defended his client, but there is no doubt Tevez’s move across Manchester proved controversial. After contract disputes and questions over his attitude, the striker made the switch to City having spent two successful years at Old Trafford.
