The hotel has stood proudly at St Peter's Square since its construction began in the late 19th century and its terracotta facade is one of the most iconic sights in Manchester city centre.
The historic, Grade II-listed building has been undergoing a major interior makeover since 2019, when the Leonardo Hotels group took over.
All 312 bedrooms and suites have been upgraded to the tune of £10m, while the rest of the budget has gone on upgrading the public spaces.
