Manchester has been blessed with relative dry weather since reaching step two of the roadmap out of lockdown on April 12. Outdoor beer gardens and restaurant terraces, including the temporary ones that have popped up, have been able to trade ever since.
But today's weather has proven too extreme for even the hardiest of Mancunians, with many pubs and restaurants calling last orders early.
