Teton Ridge Entertainment Acquires Spec Script ‘Riding Hurt’ For Seven Figures in Competitive Situation (EXCLUSIVE)

Katcy Stephan Teton Ridge Entertainment has acquired “Riding Hurt,” a spec script by Buck Bloomingdale, a new breakout writer bursting onto the scene.

The project is described as a high-octane heist film set in the adrenaline-fueled world of professional bull riding, based on an idea developed in partnership with Range Media Partners.

Plot details are still being kept under wraps. The western-focused studio beat out several other interested buyers to make the deal.

Jillian Share (“Pacific Rim,” “Freaky Tales”) and Jen Gorton (“Den of Thieves 2,” “Arthur the King”) of Teton Ridge Entertainment are producing with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (“Longlegs,” “The Monkey”) and Fred Berger (“A Complete Unknown,” “La La Land”) for Range.
