Tesco shoppers have praised the supermarket's service that helps the country to recycle more. The supermarket giant launched its plastics recycling service where customers could bring in food wrappers.Once the crisp packets and vegetable bags were collected they were sent to be recycled.
Now after an overwhelming response from customers, the chain has decided to extend its trial to all of its large UK stores.It expects to collect more than 1,000 tonnes a year and will recycle as much of this material as possible.
And the recycled material will be used into products and packaging sold in Tesco stores.In the trial stores, around 85% of customers said it helped them to recycle more than they would have done otherwise.Customers also reported.
