Tesco announces changes to online shopping deliveries for Scots customers

Tesco has increased the number of items you can purchase through its online shopping service as panic buying begins to ease in Scotland The supermarket giant previously restricted the amount of items you could buy to 80 as shoppers stripped the shelves dry as the coronavirus pandemic peaked.

Purchase limits were also introduced on essential items such as bread, pasta and toilet roll.But panic buying now appears to be on the decline as Scots adjust to the new normal way of living under lockdown.Tesco has now increased its online basket limit to 85 items in response to this while purchase limits have been removed on the majority of products.Limits will still be enforced on toilet toll, alcohol, pasta and hand sanitiser as stocks in these.
