Canary Islands.The horrifying incident took place on the Argaga beach in the popular resort of Valle Gran Rey, La Gomera, on Saturday, November 14, and a major incident has now been declared with officials concerned that campers could be trapped underneath the rubble.The cliff edge dropped onto the beach and into the water's edge, creating a massive cloud of dust visible for miles around.Families enjoying drinks in a bar on the sea-shore watched on in horror as the chunk of cliff gave way sending huge amounts of rock and dirt directly towards caravans which had been parked directly below.Emergency services rushed to the scene and dogs were used to sniff out anyone who might have been trapped.The beach has since been closed down as there are.
