Glasgow pub workers are self-isolating after two members of staff tested positive for Covid-19. The Horseshoe Bar and O’Neill’s Grand Central have both remained opened despite one employee at each venue coming down with the killer bug last week.
Due to staff shortages, three bartenders had been working between the two pubs before the coronavirus cases were detected. But it is understood that neither of the two positive cases are believed to be linked, pub bosses have said.Mitchell and Butlers, who own the two city centre venues, say they are taking the situation “very seriously” and confirmed that six staff from O'Neill's are now self-isolating for 14 days.They confirmed that a further four employees from The Horseshoe Bar are also in.
