Teenager charged after man died in three-vehicle crash in Lanarkshire

An 18-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a fatal three-vehicle crash on the A725 in Lanarkshire.Van driver Viorel Ciucu, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene after the collision which involved a HGV, Ford Transit and a Mini Cooper at the Shawhead flyover on July 18, 2024.The crash happened on the A725 at its junction with the A8 eastbound slip road, at around 11.15am.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
