A teenager has been arrested after a spate of robberies in south Manchester. Police said the robberies were reported around the Old Hall Lane area and near the Toast Rack building - an area highly-populated with students.
An investigation was launched by local officers and an 18-year-old male has now been arrested. He has been taken into custody for questioning on suspicion of multiple robberies.
A post on the GMP Fallowfield Facebook page today said: "#ARREST | Officers have made an arrest in connection with a number of robberies in the Longsight and Fallowfield area. He remains in police custody. "The arrest comes after officers from the CoM Central NCT investigated several robberies around the Toast Rack and Old Hall Lane area.
