GMP issue arrest update after woman hurt in 'domestic assault' near Heaton Park
manchestereveningnews.co.ukTwo men who were arrested after a woman was hurt in an alleged 'domestic assault' on an estate near Heaton Park have been released on bail, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to the scene of the incident on Torcross Road in Blackley at around 10.50am on Sunday. Police said one woman suffered injuries to her arm.
Two suspects - a man aged in his 40s and an 18-year-old male - were arrested. One was held a short distance away near a bus stop on Middleton Road close to Heaton Park. A number of police vehicles were pictured lining the side of the road near the Sainsbury's supermarket. In an update issued this morning (February 14), police said both arrested men have since been bailed pending further investigation.
