Police were called to an alleyway off Grosvenor Street, in the Fishpool area of the town, at 4.30pm on Thursday (February 4).A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.He remains there in a stable condition.A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and remains in custody for questioning.Enquiries are ongoing, say Greater Manchester Police.A spokesperson for the force said: "Police were called at 4.30pm on Thursday 4 February to a report of a stabbing in an alleyway off Grosvenor Street, Bury."A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and remains there in a stable condition."A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and remains.
