In a video interview with The Today Show, 18-year-old Amber Smith claims she noticed the bump but thought she had just gained a few extra pounds.
The young Australian woman, from Cairns, Queensland, says: “I only had a slight increase in my belly. So I thought that was just eating.” When The Today Show asked her if she had any inkling she was expecting, Amber claimed she continued to get periods throughout her pregnancy.
She said: "Not at all because I still got regular periods and I didn't have any showing or what, or any symptoms like morning sickness." It is not possible to have a period while pregnant,
