A teenager has broken the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Gape, with his mouth measuring 3.75 inches or 9.52 centimetres.Philip Angus 16, first realised he had a bigger than average mouth when he was having trouble hearing as a child.He said he was just nine-years-old when he tried to pop his ears while yawning, and claimed friends would comment on his wide gape.Angus later learned about the Guinness World Record for the World’s Largest Gape, and learnt about the 2017 record holder, Bernd Schmidt, who can open up 3.46inches.The 16-year-old started to dream of obtaining the title and enlisted the help of his mother to measure the space between his teeth to see if he would qualify.Angus and his mum then went to a dentist to seek.
