Coronavirus Scotland: Ayrshire breaks new record in the fight against COVID-19

The region's tally has remained the same since Friday - with the total standing at 1,253.While Ayrshire has recorded single days with no new cases on a handful of occasions, this is the first time that two days have passed with no new positive tests.There remain fewer than five patients, within the health board's region, in intensive care with confirmed or suspected COVID-19.And the number of people in hospital with confirmed coronavirus at midnight also stands at fewer than five.Nationally, Scotland hasn't reported any new coronavirus deaths since Thursday with the death toll still standing at 2482.Across Scotland 18,236 have tested positive of the 255,427.
