NHS nurse Ameera Sheikh has begged the public to follow coronavirus and lockdown rules as she fought back tears while zipping up body bags.
The 28-year-old recalled how she had to zip up a body bag on her fourth Covid-19 patient in two days at one of London’s worst-hit intensive care units.Ameera revealed in her harrowing account of the front line that she "doesn't sleep anymore" due to the nightmares the pandemic has given her.
She told The Mirror : "We are on our feet for 13 or 14 hours a day, running around. "I don’t sleep any more because the nightmares are too much."It comes as a second wave of the virus swamps the NHS as over 1,000 deaths were recorded in Britain yesterday.Speaking to Sunday People readers, Ameera continued by urging.
