coronavirus vaccine will from today be offered to everyone over 70 years old, and the clinically extremely vulnerable. This is a crucial step forward in the government’s plan of vaccinating the top four most vulnerable groups by mid-February.The government hope that when the most vulnerable have been vaccinated, it will allow for easing off some lockdown restrictions.
Now more than 3.8million people, including over 80s, care home residents and NHS and social care staff have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
But from today, Monday, January 18, it will be rolled out to the next two priority groups.So who are the clinically extremely vulnerable?
