Team GB are pressing ahead as normal with their preparations for this summer's Olympics - despite the coronavirus crisis. It is understood Team GB athletes have been told to continue training as normal - where possible - and to expect to be competing at the Games in Tokyo in July and August.
A delegation from the British Olympic Association have travelled to Japan to conduct a final recce ahead of the event. BOA chief executive Andy Anson and Team GB chef de mission Mark England have led a 30-strong party in flying to Asia to complete the final arrangements for the proposed pre-Games training camps.
Part of the trip has also been to oversee the development and logistics of the Olympic Village as well as visit some of the host venues.
