Taylor Swift has snatched a record held by The Beatles for decades after re-releasing her album Fearless. The singer decided to release a new version of her hit 2008 album following a high-profile row with talent manager Scooter Braun over the ownership of the master recordings.
She originally recorded the album when she was just 18, but made new versions of the tracks to put out Fearless (Taylor’s Version) for her fans.
It is her third chart-topping album in the space of just 259 days, following surprise releases Folklore in July and Evermore in December, meaning it's set a new record for the fastest accumulation of three number ones, according to the Official Charts Company.
