TAYLOR Swift's "stalker" was arrested for trying to break into her New York City home as the man, 52, claimed they "spoke on Instagram." The pop star had previously revealed she had to hire security 24/7 to protect her as people kept finding out where she lived.
The stalker, whose name is Hanks Johnson, claimed he had been communicating with Taylor on social media before he tried to break into her home, WFXR reported.
According to a police spokesperson, Johnson was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday after a 911 caller said he saw him inside Taylor's building without permission.
Johnson was charged with criminal trespass and released on his own recognizance after an arraignment on Sunday night. The Daily News further reported that Johnson.
