The mother of Talladega Nights star Houston Tumlin says his battles with depression and PTSD led to his tragic suicide. The former child star, who played Will Ferrell's son Bobby in the comedy flick, died this week at the age of 28.

Speaking out about his death, his heartbroken mum Michelle says her soldier son suffered with post-traumatic stress disorder which left him depressed after serving in the US Army for almost six years.

During his military career, Houston earned many accolades as an E-4 specialist in the 101st Airborne Division, including the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
