The Rochdale Riverside development has taken another step forward with the opening of its new independent cinema.The flagship retail and leisure centre was due to open on April 6, but its launch was delayed after the country went into lockdown.Stores including M&S began opening in June as restrictions were relaxed - and now Reel Cinemas has joined them.The multiplex boasts six screens, including luxury auditorium The Real Lounge, where film fans can sit back in comfy seats and enjoy table service.Each auditorium is operating at a reduced capacity for now to comply with social distancing rules, and tickets must be pre-booked.Customers will need to have their e-tickets or unique booking code with them when they arrive to minimise contact with.
