Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly given Tahith Chong the green light to join Werder Bremen on loan for next season.
Chong signed a new two-year deal with United back in March, but asked to be sent out on loan after finding opportunities hard to come by.
The Dutch winger made just three Premier League appearances last season - each time as a substitute - although he did start games in the Europa League and FA Cup.
And after learning of Bremen's interest, 20-year-old Chong asked Solskjaer if he could join the Bundesliga club, according to his agent Erkan Alkan.
