Waxahatchee has announced a new UK tour to take place in June 2025, including her biggest ever headline date in the country.The Kansas City-based indie singer-songwriter, real name Katie Crutchfield, will bring her show across the Atlantic, kicking off in Glasgow’s Barrowland on June 8, before heading to Manchester and Bristol. The final show will take place in London’s Eventim Apollo on June 11, her biggest UK headline show so far.Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday (November 22) and you will be able to get yours here.Waxahatchee will play:JUNE 20258 – Glasgow, Barrowland9 – Manchester, Albert Hall|10 – Bristol, SWX11 – London, Eventim ApolloWaxahatchee will also be playing at Primavera Sound in Barcelona next year on June 6, followed by Primavera Porto in Portugal on June 13.The sixth Waxahatchee studio album, ‘Tigers Blood’, was released in March.

Waxahatchee has released a vibrant new track called ‘Mud’, which is an outtake from her latest album ‘Tigers Blood‘.‘Mud’ maintains Waxahatchee’s (real name Katie Crutchfield) signature style. It’s a vibrant tune fuelled by airy guitars against Americana sonics – pulled together with banjo strings and a steady yet catchy beat.Sharing the song on social media, the musician wrote: “new song “mud” is out now ✨ an outtake from the original tb session !”The musician is set to embark on a 2025 UK tour this summer, which will include her biggest-ever headline date at London’s Eventim Apollo.

Waxahatchee has recently performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk series, marking her return to the show in 10 years.The singer-songwriter – real name Katie Crutchfield – appeared on the viral series in support of her Grammy-nominated album ‘Tigers Blood’. While at the iconic eccentric office space, Crutchfield performed a five-song set which included the likes of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and ‘Fire’.While at Tiny Desk, the singer reflected on her previous debut appearance at the show back in 2013 in support of ‘Cerulean Salt’, revealing she has mixed emotions about it.

Latitude Festival has announced a swathe of new names for its 2024 line-up, including The Darkness, Future Islands, Lankum and The Vaccines.The festival will return on the weekend of July 25-28 in Henham Park, Suffolk, and last month revealed its 2024 headliners as Duran Duran, Kasabian, Keane and London Grammar.Also on today’s line-up announcement are Jockstrap, CMAT, Waxahatchee, Baby Queen and Marika Hackman.The festival’s comedy line-up for 2024 has also been revealed, with headliners Jo Brand, Judi Love and Joanne McNally joining the previously announced Sara Pascoe.See the full Latitude 2024 line-up so far.

Waxahatchee has announced her latest LP ‘Tigers Blood’ and has shared the lead single ‘Right Back To It’.‘Tigers Blood’ will mark the sixth album released by the singer – real name Katie Crutchfield – and follows her 2020 LP ‘St. Cloud’. It also marks her first release under her new label home, ANTI-.A press release said that in this LP Crutchfield “emerges as a powerhouse – an ethnologist of the self – forever dedicated to revisiting her wins and losses” and sees her “arriving at revelations” and not holding them back.The majority of the songs were written during what the singer called a “hot hand spell,” while on tour near the end of 2022.

All funds from the downloads are going to the Vote No Kansas PAC, an organization raising awareness of the “Value Them Both” amendment which would allow the state legislature to ban abortion. An election on the amendment will take place on August 2 with Vote No Kansas working to educate local voters on what is at stake.
