American 'traumatises' Brits by using unusual method to make a cup of tea
expat had been baffled by British supermarkets with clock towers and was confused at the existence of grit boxes - which left Brits to mock the American. But, this time, the American might as well be mocking the Brits by advising how to make the iconic hot beverage in a very odd way. Most of us know that to make a tea you should add the tea bag, then the boiling water and then add milk and a bit of sugar for an extra kick. However, the American has thrown the well known method out of the window to concoct their own unusual tea recipe. The hot beverage demonstration has now racked up a whopping 1.3 million views on TikTok with their ‘traumatising’ tea making routine. In the video, the American first pours some full fat cows milk into a see-through kettle.Controversially, they then add a heap of sugar into the kettle with a tablespoon.Next, they add not one but two tea bags into the mix.Instead of getting the water from the tap, the American added a dash of bottled water and then proceeded to boil the mixture until it was “creamy.”The American then poured the ‘tea’ into a latte glass and added another tablespoon of sugar. And of course, Brits had many things to say about the unique way to make tea - most of them were not good. One person commented: “My therapist gonna need a therapist after this one.”Another user added: “You realise this is a war crime right?”Whilst a third person slammed: “This is a declaration of WAR!”Someone else remarked: “The worst thing I've seen in my whole life.”Meanwhile, a fifth person declared: “This is really insulting to British TEA!!” Get all the biggest Lifestyle news straight to your inbox.
