Green Day have announced the limited-time sale of a t-shirt featuring Donald Trump‘s mugshot for charity.The t-shirt, titled ‘Ultimate Nimrod’, is currently available for a limited amount of time, with proceeds from the sale of the merchandise being used to “bring food to those affected by the Maui wildfires,” per a post from the band on Instagram. Green Day have debuted a new song titled ‘1981’ during their set at the festival d’été de Québec in Canada.The new track comes after Green Day – comprised of frontman and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Durnt and drummer Tré Cool – parted ways with their label, Reprise Records after their contract expired.Fans quickly realised that the song was featured in one of the 1972 teasers posted by Armstrong back in 2022. Green Day have come good on their teaser from earlier this week, revealing an expansive deluxe edition of their fifth album, ‘Nimrod’ – dubbed ‘Nimrod XXV’ – alongside a previously unreleased demo from its recording sessions.The drop comes exactly 25 years since the band released ‘Nimrod’ – the follow-up to 1995’s ‘Insomniac’ (for which Green Day also released a quarter-centennial edition) first hit shelves on October 14, 1997.
