MPs in Oldham have written to health chiefs raising concerns that it took five days to notify them about a major IT failure that led to a ‘critical incident’ being declared at four hospitals.

Passengers were thrown into disarray at Manchester Airport this afternoon following a major IT failure for easyJet. The budget airline cancelled nine flights from Manchester in all, with more than 200 across the UK disrupted.

Staff across four of Greater Manchester's hospitals say they are struggling to 'access their patients' medical records, electronically prescribe medications and reliably see test results'. The concerns come as four hospitals have been hit by major IT failures lasting nearly a week, after problems began on Wednesday, May 18.

Hospital bosses are warning the public to avoid the Royal Oldham Hospital's emergency department unless urgent and life-threatening. The hospital has today declared a critical incident after almost a week of IT failures across four Greater Manchester hospitals which have caused 'severe delays' to patient care, according to staff.

Patients are now able to get specialist cardiac MRI scans at NHS Forth Valley instead of having to travel to Edinburgh or Glasgow thanks to a new service at the health board.

NeNe Leakes is suing the companies behind the, alleging that they fostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment.The lawsuit, filed in the Atlanta federal court on Wednesday, lists NBCUniversal, Bravo, the production companies True Entertainment and Truly Original, executives from the companies and  executive producer Andy Cohen as defendants, according to the Associated Press,The suit states, per the AP, “NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged.”According to the AP, the lawsuit states that Leakes had complained for years about alleged racist remarks made by fellow former cast member Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who, according to the suit, allegedly made “racially insensitive and stereotypical” comments about fellow cast member Kandi Burruss' home and that Zolciak-Biermann allegedly used the N-word to refer to Leakes and other members of the cast. Leakes did not name Zolciak-Biermann in the lawsuit.The lawsuit also claims that Leakes' complaints of alleged racism had her forced off the series prior to the 13th season in 2020. Leakes was a cast member on  from 2008-2020. Leakes' lawyer in Beverly Hills, David DeRubertis, released a statement to ET regarding the lawsuit.“From the day the series began filming, NeNe was the target of systemic racism from co-star Kim Zolciak-Biermann, which was tolerated by Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen and other executives,” says DeRubertis.

Machine Gun Kelly has blamed his fame and “false” news reports for his failure to respond to an assault and battery lawsuit filed against him by a disabled parking lot attendant.In the complaint filed last September, the attendant John Tilli alleged that Kelly (real name Colson Baker) pushed and threatened him while he was working. The suit came after the LA City Attorney’s Office decided not to go forward with charges due to a lack of “reasonable likelihood of conviction”.Now, in a new filing obtained by Rolling Stone, Baker is requesting a judge to set aside his recent default in the case and allow him to fight the civil claim over the alleged incident, which took place at a bank in Studio City, Los Angeles in August 2021.Writing in a new sworn statement explaining his delay in answering the lawsuit, Baker said: “As a result of my profession, there are many stories, accounts, reports and other write-ups citing my stage name, ‘Machine Gun Kelly’ [that] purport to describe activities in which I have been involved.“When I followed them regularly, I found that many of the publications ranged from false to only partially true.”He continued: “These publications occur sometimes multiple times each day.
