NewJeans’ Hyein has unveiled a cover of BTS member V’s recent solo single ‘Slow Dancing’.Hyein has become the third member of NewJeans contribute to the girl group’s recently launched ‘By Jeans’ series of covers on YouTube. For her turn, the K-pop idol decided to share her rendition of ‘Slow Dancing’ by BTS’ V.“Today, I have the honour of covering V’s song ‘Slow Dancing’.

NewJeans member Haerin has released her charming cover of South Korean duo AKMU‘s latest single, ‘Love Lee’.Haerin’s perform of ‘Love Lee’ is part of NewJeans’ new ‘By Jeans’ series of YouTube covers, which launched earlier this month with Danielle’s version of ‘Rainy Days’ by BTS‘ V.Haerin prefaced her cover of ‘Love Lee’ by explaining why she chose the song. “When I first heard this song, I thought it was so refreshing and the lyrics were very bubbly too,” she said.

Immortal Songs is headed to New York, featuring NewJeans, ATEEZ and more.Today (August 30), concert organiser Studio PAV announced the upcoming Immortal Songs live concert in New York. The upcoming show will take place at the Metlife Stadium (which is actually in the nearby state of New Jersey) on October 26.The show will feature performances by K-pop groups NewJeans and ATEEZ, g.o.d member Kim Tae-woo and P Nation founder Psy.

BTS‘ V and NewJeans have met up to dance to the girl group’s hit single ‘Hype Boy’.NewJeans recently shared a new clip of BTS member V joining them in the practice studio to dance to their 2022 hit single ‘Hype Boy’ across their social media accounts.The video opens with the BTS singer posing for the camera before it pans out to reveal the NewJeans members around him as they begin to dance to the song’s choreography.Notably, both acts’ labels are under the same parent company, HYBE. V also recently teamed up with NewJeans’ label ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin to work on the creative direction of his upcoming debut solo record ‘Layover’.In a recent interview with W Korea, the BTS singer explained why he had decided to work with Min for his album, revealing that he was inspired by her work on girl group f(x)’s 2013 album ‘Pink Tape’ during her time under SM Entertainment.“I wanted to show a different side of my music compared to my past works and collaborating seemed like the best way to achieve that,” V shared.

NewJeans entered the chart for the first time with ‘Get Up’, which also debuted at Number One on the list.

V (real name Kim Tae-hyung), a member of K-pop boyband BTS, has tapped NewJeans creative director Min Hee-jin for his upcoming solo album.Toda (August 2), V’s label Big Hit Music revealed to Sports Donga that the singer would be working with Min Hee-jin, the CEO of NewJean’s label ADOR, for his much-anticipated solo album. The ADOR head is set to lead the project, including elements such as the music, choreography and promotion style.Alongside the confirmation, Big Hit’s also released statements by both V and Min Hee-jin about their upcoming collaboration. “I received the offer late last year,” Min Hee-jin said, as translated by Koreaboo.

K-pop girl group NewJeans have performed a cover of singer-songwriter IU’s single ‘Celebrity’.IU has released the 21st episode of her YouTube music talk show IU’s Palette featuring the rising girl group as guests. During the episode, NewJeans shared a cover of the soloist’s 2021 hit single ‘Celebrity’.“There were so many reasons [we chose to sing ‘Celebrity’], but first of all, we really love this song plus, because you, IU, are our celebrity,” member Minji told the singer before the group began their performance.“In the cloudy darkness, don’t forget / That you’re a star, painted with a left hand / Can’t you see how beautiful / A true uniqueness can be / You’re my celebrity,” they sing in the chorus, accompanied by a live band.Later in the episode, IU also performed a cover of NewJeans’ song ‘Hurt’ from their 2022 self-titled debut EP.

K-pop girl group NewJeans have released a new music video for their song ‘ASAP’On July 26 at Midnight KST, the quartet dropped the dreamy music video for ‘ASAP’, one of six tracks from their new mini-album ‘Get Up’ which arrived last week.The new visual reimagines the girl group as ethereal forest fairies who are followed around by creatures with glowing eyes in the dark. These are later revealed to be bunnies, NewJeans’ official mascot, in the daylight.“ASAP baby, hurry up don’t be lazy / ASAP baby, hurry up don’t say maybe / ASAP baby, hurry up don’t say maybe,” they sing on the chorus, before the song’s instrumental break.‘ASAP’ is the sixth and final track on the girl group’s sophomore mini-album to receive the music video treatment.

NewJeans have dropped two music videos for their new single ‘Cool With You’, starring Squid Game actress Jung Ho-yeon and legendary Hong Kong actor Tony Leung.In the first video for ‘Cool With You’, dubbed the “A side”, Jung Ho-yeon stars as a someone who appears to be completely invisible in life, with NewJeans playing the angels who are watching over her.Jung takes a trip to a museum, where she falls for a man at first sight, following him around the city while he remains completely obvious to her existence. At the end of the clip, Jung strips off her clothes and takes a walk in the rain.“You may be on my mind / Everyday baby, say you’re mine / You and me on my mind / Everywhere, baby, say you’re mine / It feels cool with you,” the girl group sing on the chorus of their new song.Meanwhile, the “B side” video for ‘Cool With You’ seemingly picks up with the first clip left off, with Jung in the rain.

NewJeans have released the music video for ‘New Jeans’, the opening track of their upcoming sophomore mini-album ‘Get Up’.The clip opens with the girl group arguing with each other in a house that draws inspiration from the home of The Powerpuff Girls. NewJeans then suddenly find themselves transformed into animated characters, drawn in the style of the animated superheroes.In addition to the classic hand-drawn style of the original The Powerpuff Girls series, the girl group are also rendered in 3D, polygons, pixel art and more for the video.“New hair, new tee / NewJeans, do you see? / Make it feel like a game / Look at us, we go on and on again / We’ll go on to the end,” they sing on the chorus of ‘New Jeans’.

NewJeans and Atlanta-born rapper J.I.D have unveiled a remix of the K-pop girl group’s Coca-Cola promotional single ‘Zero’.Today (June 21), NewJeans and J.I.D released a remixed version of the girl group’s April single ‘Zero’, a promotional track for the Coca-Cola Zero campaign in South Korea. The new version of the track includes slight tweaks to its instrumental, along with a new verse by the rapper towards the end of the song.“I never ever ever want for us to be apart / That’s a fear, puppeteer, pulling strings to my heart / Very serious, severely sittin’ here inside the dark / ‘Cause whenever you depart or disappear, I feel (Heart),” J.I.D raps.The remix comes just weeks after the release of ‘Be Who You Are (Real Magic)’, which was written by Grammy-winning American songwriter Jon Batiste for COKE STUDIO.

NewJeans are set to make their return next month with their sophomore mini-album ‘Get Up’.Today (June 19), NewJeans’ label ADOR announced that NewJeans will be making their return with new music in July. The girl group are set to release two pre-release songs on July 7, before the mini-album ‘Get Up’ comes out in its entirety on July 21.‘Get Up’ will feature six new songs from the girl group, including three “lead tracks” – ‘Super Shy’, ‘ETA’ and ‘Cool With You’ – and B-sides ‘New Jeans’, ‘Get Up’ and ‘ASAP’.

NewJeans‘ Danielle has released her version of ‘Part of Your World’ for the upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid.The new music video features shots of Danielle, dressed in a sparkly light-blue outfit, performing the Korean-language cover, intercut with shots from the upcoming film. Danielle has also been cast as the voice actor for The Little Mermaid‘s lead character Ariel in the Korean version of the upcoming Disney film.The Little Mermaid is set to be released on May 26 in the United States.

NewJeans have announced their first-ever fanmeet event.Today (May 12), NewJeans took to their official social media accounts to reveal that they will be hosting their first fanmeet event in July. The upcoming ‘Bunnies Camp’ event will be held at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul on July 1 and 2, and will also be livestreamed online.Tickets to the event will cost ₩99,000 each for all seats, and will be available on May 31 at 8pm KST onwards through exclusive retailer Interpark.Meanwhile, Bunnies Membership holders can apply for “early reservation” for tickets from May 15 to May 17, with a pre-verification period held from May 24 to May 30.

NewJeans has been named Dior’s newest global ambassador.The 16-year-old’s appointment as the French luxury fashion house’s new ambassador was confirmed today by Women’s Wear Daily. According to the official NewJeans Instagram account, Haerin will be a Dior global ambassador for jewellery, and a house ambassador for fashion and beauty.“This is an opportunity to celebrate the privileged ties binding more than ever the NewJeans singer and Dior.

NewJeans are set to release a new album soon.NewJeans were recently featured in Billboard‘s K-Pop Issue as one of the stars to watch. As part of the feature, the publication spoke to Min Hee-jin, the CEO of the girl group’s label ADOR, who revealed that the quintet have new music on the way.“It was actually yesterday that they finished recording for the new album that is scheduled to be released this summer,” Min told Billboard in early April.
