Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid has been flooded with messages as she shared the sad news of her friend's death weeks after she appeared on Good Morning Britain.
Last month, the presenter was seen fighting back tears on the ITV news programme when cancer campaigner Suki Thompson appeared via video link.
Suki had been diagnosed with cancer four times during the past 15 years and had been actively raising awareness about the disease over the past few years, specifically around skin cancer following her incurable diagnosis.
During her interview on the programme, alongside her daughter, Suki told how the last time she saw Susanna was when she could walk as they enjoyed a stroll to a cafe but said she hasn't been able to walk since.
