Susanna Reid 'devastated' over schools shutting and admits she 'struggles' with home learning

Susanna Reid has admitted that she has been left "devastated" over the news that schools are shut during a third national lockdown.

The Prime Minister ordered schools to shut - after just one day back after Christmas - and told people again to "stay at home" in a return to the stark messaging from March.

Mr Johnson, who warned the weeks ahead would be the "hardest yet", said the lockdown in England would last at least until mid-February, when he said 13m of the most vulnerable should have had their first Covid vaccine dose.

GMB presenter Susanna, who is mum to sons Finn, Jack and Sam, admitted that she had struggled with home learning. She made the admission while speaking to Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer on the ITV programme today.
