A national shortage in steel, roofing and concrete materials needed for mobile classroom units has led to some schools across the country having to make temporary adjustments following 'unprecedented demand' for school places.
Pupils at a school in Trafford had to temporarily study from a school hall in September after national supply chain issues led to the delayed arrivals of mobile classrooms.
The primary school, which has not been named, faced three weeks of delays over the summer due to the supply shortage.
