Summer holidays to Spain without quarantine could happen with 'vaccine passports'

Vaccinated Brits could be allowed a holiday to Spain this summer with no 14-day quarantine period on arrival, the country's tourism minister has said.

Fernando Valdes has brightened hopes among sunseekers trapped in lockdown by reportedly saying that travel could resume within months if the UK vaccine rollout continues at its current rate.

The Secretary of State for Tourism also suggested draconian self-isolation measures for new arrivals for 14 days would be scrapped in favour of "other means" of curbing the spread.
