Love Island fans will be brimming with excitement to learn that this year's dating hopefuls will potentially be heading to Jersey, leaving sunny Mallorca well behind.
According to recent reports published in The Mirror, Love Island bosses have chosen Jersey as a back-up location for the series.It seems producers would prefer for contestants to return to the Spanish sunshine but are lining up other options as a precaution.
Although the government have mapped out plans for travel restrictions to ease during the Covid-19 pandemic next summer bosses have opted for Jersey as a possible back up plan.
An insider revealed: "The Channel Islands get plenty of sunshine so it makes sense to hold Love Island there if we can't get back to Spain."Either.
