Eagle eyed Strictly viewers spotted a lump under Shirley's arm in September and raised it to her attention.After getting it checked out doctors were concerned about her high hormone levels.
The head judge still needs to wait for further test results from her scan, but revealed on Instagram about how nervous she was beforehand.
Shirley posted on her Instagram where she said she is waiting for results, as well as scans to her ovaries, kidneys, adrenal glands and her stomach.
