During the latest episode, the duo performed a Salsa to Rhythm Is Gonna Get You/Get On Your Feet Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine with one of the final lifts not going to plan.
And after judge Craig Revel Horwood called the mistake a "complete dance disaster", AJ, 33, broke down in tears as she apologised while Kai, 33, took responsibility for the blunder.
